-Information about helmets
The use of the helmet is becoming more and more widespread among skiers, regardless of their experience on the slopes. This is because it is proven that the use of the helmet reduces in 99% of accidents the damage suffered in the head. On the other hand the use of the helmet gives us a greater sense of security, not feeling the wind in the head, this can cause the increase in speed on the descents. So you never have to forget that the best insurance is common sense.
The helmet provides protection against shocks and cold mainly, being the latest models very light and resistant.
-Types of
Freeride helmet. With the part of the ears made with soft materials. Due to the type of falls that are most frequent, they are the most used for snowboarding.
Boardercross or Race. They completely cover the area of the ears. More used for skiing as there are a greater number of side falls.
The fixed protection element for the chin, known as a barbuquejo, exists both integrated into the structure of the helmet and adaptable. If purchased separately it should be looked at that it is compatible with the helmet.

The tape of the glasses is placed on the outside of the helmet. | |
